Performance Features
Nissan equips the 2024 Sentra SV and SR models with a classic 2.0-L engine block. The four-cylinder powertrain runs on unleaded fuel and kicks out roughly 150 net horsepower. With a boost from gasoline direct injection, the I-4 engine twists out slightly more than 145 pound-feet of torque. Both sedans have the renowned Xtronic CVT system with a wide range of potential gear ratios. Based on the manufacturer’s estimates, the SV has a fuel economy of up to 40 mpg on the highway. The SR edition gets a maximum of 38 mpg on the highway. Both trims have a projected fuel economy of 30 mpg in the city. You’ll find several other identical mechanical parts on each Sentra trim. For example, the rear suspension system is configured with a multi-link layout. Twin-tube shock absorbers provide abundant mechanical reinforcement to the chassis. Additionally, both compact cars have the Intelligent Trace Control and a dual-pinion steering system.
Interior Features
A dual-zone automatic climate control system is optional on the 2024 Sentra SV. By default, you’ll get this premium HVAC unit inside the Sentra SR model. Such an advanced HVAC system is linked to the Intelligent Climate Control, which is controlled remotely by the Nissan Intelligent Key. Both Nissan sedans offer an optional six-way driver’s seat with power assistance. An armrest with two cup holders is standard in the SR’s second row. This high-end model also has durable leatherette trimming on the first-row seats. Heating elements are already built into the trim’s front seats. Both Sentra editions could be equipped with heating elements for the steering wheel. Leather upholstery is applied to this component and the shifting lever. Soft knee pads are optional on the SR’s center console for additional comfort. You’ll get exclusive sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors inside this model.
Technology Features
Having a 7-inch interface, the latest Advanced Drive-Assist Display is standard on the 2024 Sentra SV and SR. You’ll see various safety warnings and other information on this digital display. Most settings and controls appear on the 8-inch multimedia system, paired with the NissanConnect software. Using data cables, you could sync your smartphone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Both Nissan sedans have the classic Hands-Free Messaging Assistant via Bluetooth. Only the 2024 Sentra SR boasts an optional Wi-Fi hotspot and the NissanConnect Services. However, both vehicles could be equipped with the optional Bose sound system that has eight speakers. A 90-day trial to SiriusXM Satellite Radio is built into the entertainment system on both models.
