Running on a signature eight-cylinder engine, the 2024 Nissan Titan has more standard horsepower and torque than the 2024 Toyota Tundra. Both full-size pickup trucks offer climate-controlled seats in the first row. The Titan Boxes, interior mood lighting, and a flat-folding floor add more functionality to the Nissan model.

Performance Features
The 2024 Nissan Titan draws a maximum of 400 horsepower from a V-8 gasoline engine block built on the trademark Endurance platform. Natural aspiration governs the first combustion stage in the eight-cylinder engine, which churns out 413 pound-feet of torque. By contrast, a forced induction system controls the first combustion phase in the 2024 Tundra’s 3.4-L i-FORCE engine. Despite having dual turbochargers, this V-6 engine comes up short against the Endurance engine. For example, the Toyota model can’t get more than 358 hp and 406 lb-ft from the turbo engine. Some Tacoma trims tap into 389 net hp from the all-new turbo engine. This full-size Toyota pickup truck has a payload limit of 1,940 gross pounds per SAE J2807 compliance. When wearing the XD badge, the 2024 Titan hauls up to 2,360 net pounds. Of course, this full-size Nissan pickup truck offers a conventional 4×4 drive system with selectable driving modes on a rotary dial. A nine-speed automatic transmission syncs the 4×4 drive with the iconic Endurance engine. You could add a lockable rear differential for a better grip on the off-road trails. Also tuned for rugged terrains, the Bilstein shocks are optional on this tough mechanical beast. You won’t find as many off-road technologies on the Tundra’s lineup.
Utility Features
Composed of aluminum alloy, multiple cleats are installed on the 2024 Titan’s bed. You can easily tie equipment to the dedicated components in the Utili-Track Channel System. Little effort is required to open the revamped tailgate, which has an intelligent dampened mechanism with plenty of lubrication for quiet operation. If you’re going on a road trip, you can hide personal items inside the removable and lockable Titan Boxes. Working late at night won’t be a problem when you turn on multiple LED bed lighting fixtures. For its steep price, the 2024 Tundra also offers some premium exterior amenities, such as a hands-free tailgate and the patented BedStep.
Design Features
The 2024 Nissan Titan has generous interior space for a crew of up to six people. If you add captain’s chairs to the front row, the seating capacity drops to five. This full-size Nissan pickup truck has an advanced rear console with a 120-V power outlet, dual USB ports, and heating controls for the outboard seats. Similarly, the 2024 Tundra offers a 120-V power socket for second-row passengers. Both pickup trucks have a vast power sunroof that illuminates the first and second rows. If you want to keep small items inside the 2024 Titan, use the Lockable Rear Underseat Cargo Organizer bundle.
