Nissan equips the 2025 Kicks with an all-new engine block for much greater performance. Displacing 2.0 liters, the standard powertrain generates a total of 141 horsepower. This revamped I-4 engine twists out a maximum of 140 pound-feet of peak torque. The 2024 Kicks extracts up to 114 lb-ft of torque from a traditional 1.6-L engine block. This four-cylinder powerhouse kicks out a total of 122 net hp. Both Nissan crossover SUVs have a continuously variable transmission system from the Xtronic series. These light-duty models roll on a front-wheel drive system (FWD) for optimal fuel efficiency. The 2024 edition has official EPA ratings of 36 mpg on the highway and 31 mpg in the city. Nissan now offers the Intelligent AWD system for the first time on the 2025 model. However, this versatile drivetrain may have slightly lower mpg ratings. You’ll still value the all-new AWD system’s enhanced handling and other performance benefits. Clearing the ground by 8.4 inches, the 2025 Kicks is suitable for some moderate off-road driving. Engineered only for on-road driving, the 2024 version has a ground clearance of 7 inches. This model is equipped with a semi-independent rear suspension system. A multi-link rear suspension is available on the 2025 Kicks.

The 2024 Nissan Kicks has a standard infotainment console with a 7-inch display. An 8-inch multimedia system is also available on this model. You’ll love the all-new, 12.3-inch infotainment center on the 2025 edition. Similarly, a 12.3-inch instrument display is available inside the cockpit. You can manually choose the Classic Mode or Enhanced Mode for this crisp digital display. Engineered by Bose, up to 10 speakers are available on the 2025 Kicks. The 2024 version offers an eight-speaker audio system from the same iconic brand. Both Nissan crossover SUVs have the Personal Plus acoustic technology and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available on both models.

Nissan unveils a variety of all-new exterior designs for the 2025 Kicks. This subcompact car is available in numerous dual-tone paint combinations. For instance, the Gun Metal base looks excellent with the Deep Blue Pearl finish. You can also combine the Super Black base with Yuzu Yellow, Scarlet Ember, or Arctic Ice Blue. The 2025 version has other prominent exterior enhancements, such as full-width LED taillights and a more refined roofline spoiler. The rear combination lights elegantly wrap the vehicle. This all-new Kicks model even offers 19-inch alloy wheels. Both versions are available with 17-inch alloy wheels. As expected, the signature Tire Fill Alert technology returns to the 2025 lineup.
