Equipped with a 3.5-liter engine, the 2025 Pathfinder SL can tow 3,500 net pounds. An optional package increases the trailering capacity to 6,000 gross pounds. Also powered by a 3.5-L engine, the 2025 Pathfinder Platinum has a standard trailering rating of 6,000 lb. Both Nissan SUVs extract up to 284 horsepower from the V-6 powerhouse. Built on the VQ35DD platform, the six-cylinder engine dispenses approximately 260 pound-feet of peak torque. Iridium-tipped spark plugs govern combustion in the 24 valves. The naturally aspirated powerplant uses the corporate Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) mechanics. A 150-amp alternator works well with a 12-V starter and the V-6 engine. Rated at 70 Ah, a standard battery supplements the powertrain. Both Pathfinder models run on a nine-speed automatic transmission system. A shift-by-wire functionality is incorporated into the gearbox. With the twist of a dial, you could control the Drive and Terrain Modes. Each selectable setting adjusts the Intelligent 4×4 drive system and transmission. Both Nissan SUVs are equipped with 13.8-inch front disc brakes and 13-inch rear disc brakes. Additionally, these robust vehicles ride on twin-tube shock absorbers with a dual-flow path.
A 9.0-inch display is standard on the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder SL. You could precisely manage the multi-touch infotainment system on the center stack. This premium multimedia console is also standard on the Pathfinder Platinum. Wireless Apple CarPlay connections are integrated into the NissanConnect infotainment console. Both Nissan SUVs support Android Auto and Siri Eyes. You can access the internet through the NissanConnect Wi-Fi hub. SiriusXM Satellite Radio services are standard on each trim. You could listen to your preferred music on the SL’s optional 13-speaker sound system. Engineered by Bose, this high-end audio system is standard on the Platinum. Both SUVs include a three-year trial to SiriusXM Travel Link. Some of the Platinum’s exclusive technologies include a 12.3-inch instrument display and color head-up display. Both vehicles have the traditional HomeLink universal transceiver. You’ll also find helpful visual aids, such as the standard RearView Monitor.
The 2025 Pathfinder SL rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels with a Metallic Gray finish. This trim is available with 20-inch alloy wheels from the Premium Package. The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum already has standard 20-inch wheels with the Dark Metallic Gray styling. This high-end edition flaunts heated side mirrors linked to an electronic memory system inside the cabin. Both Nissan SUVs have a front grille with chrome accents. You could select the optional black finish for the front grille. Chrome is standard on the Platinum’s side cladding. Black exterior badges are available for each model. You’ll get rain-sensing windshield wipers only on the Platinum. This deluxe trim has a power liftgate with motion detection. Each trim has standard roof rails with silver paint. You could install the optional Yakima accessories on the rooftop bars and rack. Additionally, splash guards are available for these premium Nissan SUVs.
